News opinion
News1: Eighteen US soldiers have tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1) flu at an American military base in Kuwait and have left the Gulf emirate.
News2:The number of confirmed H1N1 flu infections around the world stood at 12,022 on Saturday, including 86 deaths, according to the World Health Organisation.
Opinion 1: I think the US goverment did not do his part in ensuring that the citizen is free from the Influenza A (H1N1) flu. The US goverment should remind the citizen to take their temperature once a week and set up advertistment to remind the citizen on having good hygiene
habits like covering their mouth when they sneeze or cough,etc.
Opinion2: The number of deatsh caused by Influenza A (H1N1) flu in increasign and the goverment should take action to stop this virus and ensure that people are free from thsi virus. Like Japan, some schools were closed down because of this virus. I think that people should be considerate and should wear mask or see a doctor when they are ill. People should also wash their hands with soap regularly and take temperature regulary.

i did agree with you that they should take temperature once a week.
as for the opinion 2 i would like to add in some more things...
may be you can say they should stay at home more if they don't feel well and try not to go close to others to prevent others from getting the virus.

and in your opinion 2, i think you can add something like the ways to wash your hands and what will happen if the people who have flu or cough or something like that if they did not wear a mask. hope to see your second post(: oh, before i end off, there are some spelling errorsin your post(anyway, it's not so important.)

Your opinion is very good. I agree with you that we should be aware of our personal hygiene like washing hand regularly with soap and water. You can elaborate on how one should refrain from going overseas as the chance of getting the H1N1 virus increases. Singapore, like other countries, also did safety measures like quarantine passengers and having check-ups. This is very responsible of them. Singapore students are also taking their temperatures periodically so as to ensure no one is infected. The virus has mutated itself to be more immune to the human immune system, so it can kill humans. However, if everyone plays a part in ensuring their personal hygiene, I am sure that this disease would be curbed.
